In 1926 Earle R. Forrest presented his magnificent work History of Washington County, Pennsylvania in three large volumes. This 100th Anniversary full color reprint covers the first volume in two smaller hardback books, which details numerous events from the beginning of recorded history in the area that now comprises the present county. Volumes Two and Three originally covered biographies of early 20th century residents of Washington County, and are not included in this single edition.
